Ruthz Training Academy – Student Procedure for Using the Platform
📘
(Updated to include Library PDF resources)
🎯 Purpose
This procedure explains how students must use the Ruthz Training Academy online platform to complete course modules, watch lesson videos, participate in discussions, and upload assessment tasks correctly. It also outlines how to use the Library section, where PDF versions of the course modules are stored.
1️⃣ Accessing Your Course Modules
Go to Ruthz Training Academy under Groups on the RMS website.
Each module appears as a topic inside the Discussion section.
Modules are labelled clearly (e.g., BSBWHS413, BSBWHS416, BSBWHS419).
2️⃣ Watching the Module Video
Each module will have:
A video lesson posted by the trainer.
Instructions or notes related to the module.
Student action:
Click on the video post.
Watch the full content before writing feedback or attempting tasks.
3️⃣ Writing Your Feedback
After watching the video:
Return to the Discussion page.
Select the correct module topic.
Click Write a comment… under the video post.
Provide feedback using the following structure:
✔️ Feedback Format
Summary – What the video covered
Key learning points – What you understood
Application – How you can apply this in your workplace
Questions – Anything you need clarified
This ensures consistent learning reflection across all students.
4️⃣ Using the Library Section (PDF Course Versions)
The Library section contains the PDF versions of the course modules. Students must use these PDFs to:
Review the full module content
Understand performance tasks and knowledge questions
Support workplace-based activities
Clarify concepts before submitting assessments
Student action:
Go to Library inside the Ruthz Training Academy group.
Open the PDF for your module.
Use it as your main reference when completing tasks.
This ensures students have access to the full accredited course content.
5️⃣ Completing Assessment Activities
Assessment activities include:
Performance Tasks
Knowledge Questions
Workplace Projects
Reports or evidence uploads
Students must:
Use the PDF module content from the Library
Follow instructions provided in the video
Ask questions in the Discussion area if unsure
6️⃣ Uploading Your Work
Upload your completed assessments in the Files section of the group.
✔️ File Naming Convention (Mandatory)
All uploaded files must follow this exact format:
Your Name, Module Code, Assessment Type & Task Number
Examples:
Eggai Latham, BSBWHS416 Performance Tasks 1-6
Paula Kora, BSBWHS413 Knowledge Questions
John Doe, BSBWHS419 Workplace Project
✔️ Rules
Use comma separation
Use the correct module code
Use the correct assessment type
Include task numbers where applicable
This ensures files are organised and easy for trainers to track.
7️⃣ Engaging in Discussions
Inside the Discussion area:
You will see posts from the trainer (e.g., “Workplace Monitoring”, “TEST”).
You can comment, ask questions, or respond to other students.
Keep comments professional and relevant to the module.
8️⃣ Support & Communication
If you need help:
